David Sandercott
At 5’3 David Sandercott set a goal of being the shortest high fashion model ever. He also decided that he was going to meditate to get there, and he made it in three years. In 2001 David was the shortest male model ever to appear in Vogue Magazine, photographed by Helmut Newton in six pages alongside supermodel Kate Dillon. David has also appeared in several national commercials, movies, and TV shows. His last modeling job paid him $9,000 for a 6 hour day.
David Sandercott is the Head of Coaching at the Self Awareness Institute, meditation teacher, author, speaker and mentor. Trained by Steven S. Sadleir, founder of the Self Awareness Institute, David has been meditating for 20 years now.Trained in Kundalini Meditation and Jnana Yoga since 2006. David is also a full time teacher, teaching 5 meditation classes a week via tele-class. His first book 30 Day Meditation Journey is being published by Wellness Ink in Sept 2017. Kate Dickinson writes children’s books using her experience as a nurse who sees children wrestle with complicated emotions. During her years working in hospice, Dickinson witnessed the grief of many families who lost loved ones. Seeing very little in the children’s book market to address this need, she felt the need to write stories that would help children wrestling with these complex emotions and fear.
